HI

I've got a Synology RT2600AC and some network switches and a MR2200AC as an extender.

I'm just wondering if it makes any difference to the wiring of the system when using the extender and switches.

setup is:

Router (internet in modem only mode) into the synology 2600 (in router mode)

2600 has a small network switch unmanaged with devices for the living room plugged into it.

A ethernet line up to the office where it hits the MR2200AC which has a network switch (un managed) plugged into it for the office devices.

does it make any difference if the switch is connected to the MR2200?, currently the office switch is behind the MR2200, should it be connected to the main 2600 router first?.

thanks

I would connect it to main router first, in case something happen to MR2200AC, wired device still have internet.
