Airdropping more than 200 photos seems to fail. I'd love to airdrop from phone to phone 1k photos, but it seems there is a sweet spot. What else have you come across? Or seen in practice?

I tried last night 200. But more than 200, it is not working. 🤣

But then wouldn’t you have to save each photo one by one to your camera roll? (Unless you can create a shortcut that saves all images on a page to the camera roll 🤔)

In my experience, around 150 photos is doable… but go over that and then it becomes unreliable. When videos are in the mix, then you’ll have to cut back on the number of photos. If the sender and receiver are Apple devices made in the last couple years (with WiFi 6 antennas) the transfers are much quicker and they seem to handle more files.

How is shared album losing quality but iCloud link isn’t

When you download files from a shared album - they aren’t downloaded in the same quality as airdrop or wire transfer is - I think?

The files are already in the cloud

Not too bad - but I love my photos and videos in full quality.
