“No more than two (one pair or equivalent) of G.L.O.V.E. devices should be applied at one time to a single Subject,” the manual reads

Guarantee the first video we see of these in action will involve like five pigs grabbing someone at once

I said basically that yesterday. I hope the MSM can at least understand ICE is going to use the gloves as a torture device. And there won't be any training. ICE will "forget" to have that.

The manual says the gloves must “come in contact with the subject’s skin” and are not effective through clothing or hair. It also says the gloves “can be degraded on individuals and animals that are extremely hairy.”

    Layer up comrades.

While this will inevitability lead to innocent people dying, it will most likely lead to some ICE freaks dying too

I've had another thought about these.

How do they handle getting very wet?

What advantage do these even offer over a tazer or other electric weapons? Why would you create a weapon that requires such close contact?

The advantage is the intimacy and the removal of the tiny barrier to cruelty involved in having to draw the taser. Constant access to pain-giving in a way that isn't obviously weapon-use on a recording, and since they're worn all the time there are easy excuses for "accidental" usage.

There'll be some chud looking solemnly at his hands and thinking that now he has the power of a god in the palm of his hand, and They should show some respect.

that battery looks awfully exposed, a good hit with a piercing weapon to the back of the thing could set the jackboot's hand on fire
    for educational purposes of course
