I no longer have to reconcile the claims. In fact the inability to do so was one of the reasons I deconverted. At one point I saw how they did it. Redefine terms like "love" and "morality" in abstract scenarios and believers will typically be too afraid to question it. Lead them down this path slowly so they don't notice how far out of sync they are with the original definitions. Brainwashing, basically.
