Chavez-Carranza was stopped by an Alabama state trooper on Dec. 30.

In March, Chavez-Carranza applied for deferred action, which could protect him from deportation if granted.

"The problem with that is they have required him to do fingerprints, allegedly, for a background check before they can approve the deferred action,"

"They keep giving him notices to appear for his fingerprints in Birmingham, but he's detained. So, he's missed his last three appointments for fingerprints."

I bet this causes the controlling mouth-breathers to 'hyuk hyuk hyuk' endlessly at their "brilliance" in two-facing (it's not, they didn't invent the playbook). If the people ever get their will (whether they will or not is not a subject of direct interest, I am of the mind that any aftereffects are History's problem to parse) and the treason charges come, their appeal hearings should all be held in the farthest flung non-continental court available.

"Being in detention is a choice," the agency said. "We encourage all illegal aliens to take control of their departure with the CBP Home App. The United States is offering illegal aliens $2,600 and a free flight to self-deport now. We encourage every person here illegally to take advantage of this offer and reserve the chance to come back to the U.S. the right legal way to live the American dream. If not, you will be arrested and deported without a chance to return."

Fuck these mouthpieces in particular, and their doublespeak. As if we didn't already know of a plethora of cases where they "fucked up" (no, dear reader, I am aware of the real nature of the world and know it is not a fuck up) and detained actual citizens. I personally feel the "spoke-persons" deserve a whole extra book thrown at them, that the grunts don't. These motherfuckers can supposedly read.

If they really wanted people to self deport, ICE wouldn't be in San Ysidro stopping people at the border trying to leave the country. They are though. They are locking them up illegally at the Otay Mesa Detention Center as well.

They want people to "self deport," so they can lock up more people and kill them.
