that's interesting. The same account on mastodon said our titles were click baity too. i don't know what to think - we want you to click on them? they're not misleading? You click on them, you read more about exactly what the headline says? I am loathe to put out headlines like 'company A release new product on Date' but if piefed isn't going to support titles then there's not much we can do

INeedMana Mastodon continues to not play nice with other platforms. I've heard they're going try to support more message types in the future, but who knows what they mean by that, or when that will be.
I also get inconsistent results and formatting from my NodeBB server.
From where I'm sitting, the link preview shows what the post is about, and the "clickbait" nature of the title is Mastodon's fault and problem. Anyone who's interested will click through and probably not notice the awkward title. Those who aren't might put up a weird stink, but they're not the audience for the post anyway, so *shrug*.
