Asking for something new of a franchise that's inherently derivative seems like a fool's errand.

I also think that the animated stuff and the live action stuff should be pretty distinct, we don't need both live action and animated iterations of the same characters unless they're going to be substantially different from each other.

That said, I do think it'd be better for Marvel to adapt character who hadn't been adapted before--just like they did in the beginning--than for them to recast a character who's already been portrayed in the MCU before (in Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.).
