for real wtf. I have an old crossman .177 bb gun that I was teaching my 11 year old cousin to shoot cans with and the first thing I did was teach him to treat it just like you would any firearm and the safety basics. Fascists are often so caught up in the aesthetics of violence that they skip the necessary step of discipline and respect for the weapons they fetishize.
When you have a hard time conceptualizing the value of a life, those precautions don't seem to matter as much.
Isn't it an established pattern that fascists tend to be terrible at risk assessment, but it makes them more likely to succeed at things because they actually try them?
They only succeed until they get in over their head, start multiple wars, and end up shooting themselves in a bunker somewhere.
The scale can go all the way down to individuals, though. Assassination attempts tend to be far-right-wing idiots, even if their most volatile targets are also far-right-wing. They only ever succeed because they're willing to take the risk, while center and left-wing people who have similar inclinations decide against it.
That lack of trigger discipline though

Comedian settles slander case with Palestinian grocer he labeled ‘terrorist’
British comedian Sasha Baron Cohen has reached a settlement with an innocent Palestinian grocer whom he portrayed as a terrorist in his 2009 movie ‘Bruno,’ according to reports on Friday.
Britain’s The Daily Mail reported that Ayman Abu Aita brought a slander suit against the movie star and against late night talk show host David Letterman.
In the comedy, Baron Cohen plays Austrian fashion journalist Bruno - aiming to make peace in the Middle East. He interviews Abu Aita, who is labeled in a caption as a member of the West Bank-based militant group Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigade.
Baron Cohen then went on the talk show with Letterman on U.S. TV channel CBS to describe his encounter with a ‘terrorist.’
A Christian and ‘a peace-loving person’ who lives near Bethlehem in the West Bank, Abu Aita has never been a part of the Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigade or participated in any terrorist activity, according to his court complaint papers.
The Palestinian grocer said he agreed to the interview that appeared in ‘Bruno’ thinking that he will be discussing peace activism with a real journalist, the complaint further read
Abu Aita said the movie prompted death threats against him, damaged his grocery business and made him fear for the safety of his family.

I mean he’s the textbook liberal Zionist. He thinks it has extreme edges that don’t represent the whole. Not internalizing that the whole is by definition extreme.
I think that’s the more dangerous ideology in the long term because it keeps the support going
