Amy Madigan was great in this role. Don't mind seeing more of her, but enjoyed the mysteriousness of her character. Hope a prequel doesn't ruin that.
My thoughts exactly.
If she didn't play that well i might have not liked the movie at all. Personal preference, but for me she took it from a 6/10 to a 8/10 at least. I hope they give her a big say in the scenario and all dialogues.
Ugh, prequels.
I love this actress but do we really need a prequel? After the big revival the movie lost some of it's magic to me.
Yeah, once that reveal dropped the movie lost me. Didn't help that the narration stated the kids were never seen again, oh wait yes they were some are even getting better now. Plus the fact no police, or fed, or anybody else in the first couple of weeks didn't look at the videos of the kids and go, hmmmm they seem to be going straight, so it wasnt until one dad decided to take it upon himself to look at that very clear clue. Was a good premise but it broke down the second the reveal happened, then breaks even more once you actually think about it for more than two seconds. Everything up to the reveal, and especially James' POV was really great though.
Yep once that happen I just was left going through the motions to see how it ended. I don't need a prequel which probably try show how she came to that power. Also it just made the movie dumb.
