I live in a medium size house with my mom and recently we've had some connectivity issues. The wifi seems to go out at random times and sometimes requires me to unplug it and plug it back in to fix it. I don't have that much knowledge when it comes to stuff like this, but I figure that we need to get a new router to connect to our modem and things would be fixed. We'd prefer to spend around 200$ for a new one, and I want to make sure we're getting the most bang for our buck as well. If anyone could give some insight on what our next move should be, or what could be going on I'd love to hear it.

Check the current router isn't overheating.
