I accidentally befriended a couple large stray dogs some time ago, and their version of this was rushing at me, jumping up and getting in my face trying to lick it whenever I paid them any attention. I think it made onlookers a little scared for me.

I did try to train the face-licking behavior out of them, but I didn't meet them often enough for it to work. Dunno what happened to them, hope they're okay.

This is an extremely accurate description of my youngest cat. Had her since she was about 3 weeks old. All I have to do is walk into the same room as her and she starts purring loud enough to vibrate windows. ,(she'll be 1 in October)

Sometimes my husky looks at me the same way she looks at a piece of meat I am eating and I don't know if I should be happy or afraid.

My cat will sprint across the apartment when he hears the front door open or you call his name. He's like a puppy in a cat's body.

My cat is old and had kidney disease. One of the issues they have with that is weight loss, but mine has been putting on weight, which I'm happy about. It tickles me so much when she comes trotting at me and her little poochy tummy is swinging back and fourth.

Works with nephews and nieces too. "Uncle!!!" It is good to know I'm doing something right.

One of my true joys is when my hen sees me coming. And how she follows me around.
