You can hold the “+” and it will open it…

You can rearrange the list. Long press the gifs button and move to the top.

You should be able to choose what style it is “pre ios 17” or “post ios 17” or just a switch that is labeled “legacy mode” or something under the “messages” setting would be amazinf

Ever since this update, I can only get the damn photos to open about 50% of the time. I usually have to go to my Photos app and send the message from there because the Messages app doesn’t open photos.

My favorite thing lately is tweeting Apple their obvious UI UX mishaps. Idk what they’re distracted by but they certainly don’t care for detail like the used to
