It's advisable to generally avoid .ml comms because they're authoritarians (see below) in addition they'll ban for simply mentioning "ricing", not sure why, think they view it as anti-China or something

Don't link to or participate on Lemmy.ml, join the boycott today! because the admins of .ml (and many users) (known as "tankies") authoritarian ideologies they push, their critical support and defense of horrible countries like NK and Russia no matter what they do, the related propaganda they push (For example they constantly push the idea that Ukraine deserves to be invaded because Russia is the good guys actually (Russian propaganda)), and the censorship the .ml instance admins (see megathread link above) perform to keep it that way
