Hi, this feature already exists! It's in Settings.

I have been using it and it has been very useful, but I still find more handy to have a button or option to hide the read post when you are on your feed.
If I want to see a post that it is no longer shown in the feed because "I watched it" I would need to disable this feature altogether within the settings.
Maybe it is because many Reddit apps thought us this way, but I think this is more versatile.
Look at Summit which implements it that way, or more recently Voyager.
Agreed with that. Maybe even a toggle on the side bar for a more easy/quick access.
Fantastic, thanks! I skimmed through the settings before but missed it somehow.
If I had a nickel for every post I’ve seen asking this question in the last 60 seconds, I’d have two nickels.
Which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird it happened twice. Check out Voyager because it just got this feature today.
Or check out the Connect app, which has had that feature for over a week?
