Has Siri’s response time improved since the Apple Watch Series 4? My 4 is still functioning well and my biggest complaint is how long Siri takes on a request to Homekit. I’m unsure whether this is a hardware bottleneck or something else (as I’ve heard that some Siri commands are processed locally). Have you noticed improvement after upgrading?

This and a compass would be my only reasons to upgrade.

It doesn’t matter. Siri absolutely sucks.

I don’t disagree, except on some devices it’s nearly instant with Homekit

I’m looking for anecdotal experiences. I know how to search this forum and others and this wasn’t covered specifically. But be rude. Be you.

I think that was a joke about Siri being dumb and having to search everything

I recently upgraded to the ultra 2 from the ultra 1 about a couple weeks ago. Siri is noticeably faster. I’d say like 0.5-2sec faster

Very responsive when you never use it

On 9 siri is processed on the watch as opposed to sending back to iphone for processing, so almost instant

I have a series 7. Very tempted to upgrade but I use Siri like once a day so not sure if it’s worth it. Also don’t see any issues with the speed on a 7
