Why would you tie your goals to arbitrary numbers in the first place? You should be constantly trying to improve yourself regardless of what time of the year it is.
Of course.
Like mentioned, big yearly goals are worth shit. Instead, you should aim for more realistic things that are actionable and that you can work on... on a daily basis.
@Libb@piefed.social completion of daily assignments is a must, yes !!
Daily objectives is how I (re)learned to walk... never fixing myself impressive objective, regularly noticing other people smiling at my lack of impressive progress while I focuses on walking a few more steps every day. Still, I went from barely being able to walk to walking miles daily... and I also got back into a somewhat decent shape.
@Libb@piefed.social that's major achievement l must say !! You mean to say you walk miles ??
ou mean to say you walk miles ??
As much as possible, I'll go anywhere I can walking. Unless there is a real practical reason not to, I now walk multiple miles every single day. I love long walks :)
that's major achievement
But it was always just a few more steps... aka, a real minor objective.
@Libb@piefed.social 1 mile = 1.6 kms
You should avoid the single big year goal and instead divide everything in smaller, more manageable, steps to do on a weekly/monthly base.
2026 isn't over yet! Get after it!
yea
