Hi,

I’m looking for a way to control my iPhone when it’s connected to my TV without touching the phone display itself.

For example, I want to be able to swipe between my photos and videos but my HDMI cable is too short to be able to hold the phone in my hand while sitting comfortably on the couch.

I have tried connecting a Bluetooth mouse and although it does connect fine, it just doesn’t show anything on iOS.

Same with a PlayStation controller which only works in games and not on the iOS interface itself.

Any ideas ?

Why are you torturing yourself? Buy an Apple TV and be done with it!

With an Apple TV you can mirror your iPhone screen wirelessly or, better yet, you can access your photos library directly from your iCloud account.
