When i press to location’s URL it takes me to Google maps directly now isn’t working properly

Before the update it was working properly but now isn’t it’s super annoying
When you click on open, does Google maps open automatically? Or does it give you some error? Also, you will be able to solve this problem by going to your Google settings. Then I have remember reading somewhere about default apps and you need to select Google maps over there for links from Google Maps.
I may be wrong, but I’m just trying to help
