I’m looking to get an LG B3 which has 2 hdmi 2.1 ports and 2 hdmi 2.0. One of the 2.1 ports is the eARC which will be connected to the sound bar, and I would like to connect my PS5 to the remaining 2.1 port. I also have an Apple TV 4K and a Fire TV cube, I would like to have both of them connected at the same time with atmos working. I could connect one of them to the soundbar via passthrough and then the other one (let’s say the Apple TV) connected to one of the regular ports. Would the Apple TV work with atmos this way?

Essentially, it would be something like:

Source (Apple TV) -> TV hdmi 2.0 -> soundbar hdmi 2.1 eARC -> atmos output?

Hopefully this makes sense and thanks for the help!!

I would have the Apple TV hooked up to the soundbar as it doesn't support passthrough audio so you'll get a slight audio delay without it especially for Atoms content.

What do you mean the Apple TV doesn’t support pass through? The Apple TV will be the source of the audio. There’s nothing for it to pass though.
