For anyone who cares, some FPS reports on Fedora Linux for the 7840U + 32GB ram:

Minecraft (Lunar Client + Optifine)
12 Chunks,
Some optimizations in Optifine settings
Result: ~900-1050 avg fps
Result w/ MakeUp UltraFast Shaders: ~140-180 avg fps

Really good performance, much better than my desktop PC which maxes out around 300fps.
Note that the fan will spin very loudly if you do not cap the FPS, but 120 FPS is still really good.

CS2 (Medium preset, Dust II Casual vs Bots)
Result: ~50-70 avg fps

This game seems poorly optimized but I also didn't play for very long and this was against bots since matchmaking servers wouldn't connect.

Battlebit Remastered (High preset, 1504p custom res)
Result: ~80-120fps

All games were played while charging, for best performance.

Squad: (Low preset, 1808x1202p)
Result: 35-45 avg fps, usually closer to 45.

Very smooth gameplay as well, no stuttering.
Keep in mind this title is running through steam proton compatiibilty layer.

How is the performance when not plugged in?
