The bourgeois want to get a monopoly on sex. They're trying to deprive the people of sex because it develops strong bounds between them. Ancient people knew that warriors were better at war when they fought for the ones they had sex with so soldiers had lots of gay sex. The bourgeois are trying to make the revolution weak by imposing its own bourgeois values on sex : male dominance, procreation-orientedness, non-consensuality, heteronormativity, violence. In one word, as exploiters, they promote exploitative sex. When the proletariat destroys exploitative sex and develops new forms of bounds stronger and healthier between its individuals, class consciousness and collective action power will follow.

Ahh cool cool polyamory is revolutionary got it. (I actually do believe this a little bit)

If a person can navigate the social minefield of a messy polycule they can also probably do the same thing in a revolutionary org.

I'd argue that a true revolutionary's polycule is not messy, but a working example of collectivism. However, it absolutely prepares you for surviving the purges when you're able to defeat a rival polycule in a game of political intrigue.

I think sincerely that sex as a mirror to our society probably reflects a class and gendered characteristic making some sex have reactionary vibes and some progressive to varying degrees.

[Aella Kink political compass]

I hate that I know that reference. I also hate that the data is good and if she has abandoned the faulty model of the political compass it would be much better.

[-] Trying2KnowMyself@hexbear.net 10 points 1 month ago

It’s not as fun as I was led to believe.

I’m not sure if that makes it bourgeois or proletarian.

[-] Owl@hexbear.net 9 points 1 month ago

[-] Acute_Engles@hexbear.net 6 points 1 month ago

That's the reason my wife gave me for stopping

[-] Chana@hexbear.net 5 points 1 month ago

No. Only women are bourgeois. Extrapolate accordingly.

If sex is bourgeois, I don't want to be proletarian

On the Chapo sub, one of the most long-running protracted debates was "is cumming bourgeois".

[-] Abracadaniel@hexbear.net 4 points 1 month ago

Yeah when the sex is good enough it feels like you rule the world and that's bourgeoisie.

[-] AvocadoVapelung@hexbear.net 4 points 1 month ago

[-] insurgentrat@hexbear.net 3 points 1 month ago

Depends on how much emotional labour you're having someone else do
