If a person can navigate the social minefield of a messy polycule they can also probably do the same thing in a revolutionary org.

I'd argue that a true revolutionary's polycule is not messy, but a working example of collectivism. However, it absolutely prepares you for surviving the purges when you're able to defeat a rival polycule in a game of political intrigue.
