Hi, as stated above I was curious if I should exchange my current XB7 (TG4482a) Xfinity provided equipment to something else. I currently had my eyes on an ARRIS surfboard S33-RB for my modem and a TP-Link Archer AX10000 for a router. I did look at the TP-Link Archer BE550 as well but Im not super well versed in routers. Im kinda tired of paying 15$ a month for my Xfinity rental equipment. If I can get both router and modem for less than 450$ id be a happy camper.

You may want to consider the Hitron CODA-56 over the Arris S33 as the Hitron is one of the few that is currently certified to provide higher upload speeds in areas where Xfinity has completed their mid-split upgrade.

You can get exactly what you have from Amazon for $330. The modem is $160; less expensive, but probably just as functional, depending on how big your house is, cost $100 - $120.
