I know there are a million other apps that do this, but it seems pretty basic to be able to go in a spot heal something. I have a scab on my nose that I want to remove from my vacation photos but it seems silly to load a hundred pics into another app (then deal with exporting and having duplicate photos).

Apple puts so much emphasis on the camera but then barely provides much correction options after the fact.

It’s obnoxious. One of the many features that lack parity between the macOS Photos app and iOS Photos app.

It’s not like it’s a question of performance either. Considering iPads, iPhones, and Macs all use basically the same chip now. And the auto heal tool is available on very old Intel machines with far less performance…

We only just recently got the ability to change the date and location of photos in iOS… and macOS Photos is still missing the ability to skew and perspective warp photos. You can do it on iOS, macOS only has the ability to tilt and crop….

Feel like that's just not an Apple-like feature. They do have lots of editing tools in the Photos app, but tend to focus on higher level tools, like crop, perspective, exposure, etc, and let the App Store take the spotlight for the stuff Android is famous for (like removing unwanted people from photos, blemish tools, etc).
