Thank God this is censored, I don't know what I'd do otherwise

[-] Grimy@lemmy.world 17 points 1 month ago

Fuck. That's the word that was censored. Sorry to ruin your day.

[-] Homo_Erectus@lemmy.zip 16 points 1 month ago

True, it might be funk instead. I'm making an educated guess.

Looks like slop (position of the night stand is in the middle of the bed)

One of many I gave up counting let's just say geometry, perspective, or how flowers and rope work are not their strong suits.

Goodnight, dear, and remember: there's a spooky, scary skeleton inside of you.

[-] surewhynotlem@lemmy.world 11 points 1 month ago

Technically, you're inside the skeleton. And the skeleton is always moist.

[-] lugal@sopuli.xyz 4 points 1 month ago

I assume, that's equating "you" with "your brain" while I would rather say that the skeleton is part of you. You are more than your thoughts

[-] ceenote@lemmy.world 2 points 1 month ago

A spooky, scary skeleton provides the framework for your body's locomotion, but whether or not it's part of your identity is a subject of philosophical debate. Sweet dreams!

[-] jaybone@lemmy.zip 2 points 1 month ago

Mom, what the fu*k

[-] Mouselemming@sh.itjust.works 9 points 1 month ago

Well Susan Sto Helit has taught us how to handle the monsters: threaten them with the fireplace poker until you force them out into the open, then flip the fluffy blanket over them, which throws them into an existential crisis and they disappear.

It's less messy than just beating them to death with the poker.

[-] Maultasche@lemmy.world 3 points 1 month ago

Unless it's a skeleton eating a biscuit

[-] Mouselemming@sh.itjust.works 2 points 1 month ago

That sounds more like Grandfather Death. The children know He's not a monster.

[-] MyTurtleSwimsUpsideDown@fedia.io 4 points 1 month ago

The scariest monsters are the friends we made along the way.

[-] FinjaminPoach@lemmy.world 3 points 1 month ago

That is where demons live unfortunately!
