Yeah can you please not? Fuck these apocalyptic tech bros with an umbrella.

In principle this sounds like a good thing until you dive a little deeper. Passing along genetic changes is fucking risky, we still know very little about what side effects it may have, if it would spread or not, etc.

Had this been a government funded project, executed by scientists basing every decision on scientific fact, moving forward carefully, I would have been all for it.

But this is a tech bro consortium of the "move fast and break shit" type in a semi dictatorship country, run by a megalomaniac clown and supported by an apocalypse death cult. As bad as that already is for our daily lives, this can be disastrous with genetic modifications.

What do you do for work? I'm curious because the vast majority of people on Lemmy are actually "tech bros." If you have a job in tech, then you are one.

Having said that though, yeah, not sue the mosquito thing is a great idea.
