Can a router bought in USA be used in kenya? (alien.top)

Hey fellas, im new to this stuff so you can imagine my disappointment when i found out that the linksys ac1750 ea6500 i bought off ebay would be region locked. I was planning on taking it with me to Kenya but now im not so sure. Any advice?

Edit:I should add that its primarily to create a 5GHZ channel for playing on oculus quest.

No issues.

The routers are not region locked, and when setting it up you are prompted to select a country/region. Doing it, selects the correct frequency for tour country.

(Correct frequency means set by your government)

I moved a lot between countries and always left my router set as north America, never had an issue with it.
