    Ive got a Mao pack, theyre not hard to get. They are shitty cigarettes though, don't get them for smoking purposes. From what ive heard the communist leader cigsrette packs are often from Singapore and disguised as Chinese cause Singapore smokes are even worse. I learned this from my Chinese co worker who lived in Singapore before coming here. That dude kicked ass. Absolutely amazing at making pizza. He had a technique where he didnt even lay down flower on the counter for lube to get the paddle under it to fire the puzza into the oven, he left the paddle itself in the oven so it got crazy hot and it cooked the dough while you slid it under. It's way too unsafe to have a red hot paddle going back and forth next to people working, but holy fuck it worked amazing. One time e burnt half of two of the same type of pizza cause we were slammed and a two man show, we cut each in half and turned it into one usable pizza. I miss that guy

    Huh I've heard Chinese cigarettes are actually pretty good, must be a lot of variation in quality.

    The only Chinese cigarette ive ever tried was a Marlboro, but it had a fruit flavored bead in the filter. It honestly was really good, like smoking the taste of a piece of fruit gum. Its probably for the best that flavored cigarettes are banned in the US and other places. It had none of the offputting taste of smoking a regular cigarette

    The marketing explanation I've heard is that it's a hygeine, anti-tampering and anti-counterfeitting measure all in one. Giving someone an individually wrapped product may reassure them that it is genuine and unadulterated

    Kinda nonsense (not you) since none of that is really prevented by wrapping them in groups of 20. I think they just don't wanna change the machines.

    Honestly individually wrapped cigarettes just sound annoying too, when I was a smoker this would've gotten on my nerves having to unwrap every cigarette individually.

    Don't it sucks. I started because my ex smoked and I like a dumbass wanted to be cool too. Smoked for like 12-13 years, quit, switched to vapes for 2 years, quit that, now I'm on low dose nic pouches. I figure I'm probably never going to quit while my life sucks, but in the spirit of harm reduction the pouches are the least bad for me.

    I have been similar to you, but was hooked on vaping before cigs. I just hopped off zyn / velo and it was surprisingly the easiest time I've quit.

    I went from 2 cans of velo a week to cold turkey much easier than it was to get off vapes. I'm about a week in and it does suck because I'm always thinking about it, but it doesn't ITCH like it did with vapes.

    You might joke, but I almost did it out of boredom at the closed facility I was at. There was little to do besides reading, and people mostly hung around smoking. I was one of the few people allowed to leave the facility since I wasnt an alcoholic, so I went out regular and bought cigarettes for the rest of my group. If I'd stayed much longer, I probably would have started smoking myself. Funny to think about.
