Few questions here…

So I found an Apple Watch on the ground outside of a comedy show, I took it home and charged it to see that there’s a passcode. I tried pairing the watch to my phone in hopes that I could see the email of the person it belongs to. However, it only shows me “j******@smn.com” or something along those lines…

  1. Am I able to contact the original owner somehow?

  2. If I can’t contact the owner, what do I do with it?

I assume it’s paired to their FindMy app, can they see and choose to contact me? I need my good deed for the day, this thing is like $700 🤣

Thank you!

Assuming the email wasn't msn.com but something more specific like smn.com, then try reaching out to the domain owners (if it was smn.com, looking at their site, they're not very tech-savvy, so probably haven't even realised they've lost their watch 😏)

If the Apple Watch doesn't show a contact on the Medical ID screen there is nothing you can do.

To view the Medical ID screen on your Apple Watch, follow these steps:

  1. Press and hold the side button until the sliders appear.
  2. Slide the Medical ID slider to the right.
  3. Tap Done when you’re finished.
