Higher spec than a lot of VPSs, you could run a lot of selfhosted software on it. Anything you can run on an old raspberry pi at least

Anyway, I won't argue it could be used as a server, but 2 Gigs of Ram and a 2011 CPU paired with a TerraScale IGP is probably worse than almost any VPS. I pay 4.50โฌ for 4vCPUs and 8 GB of Ram, and that's pretty much the cheapest/smallest option my provider has.

Nah there are loads of smaller instances. Pretty much any nano or micro or small AWS instance, for example: t3a.small 2vcpus 2 GiB 9.05/month

Ah, right. Never really got using AWS for small/private stuff. If you're in the ecosystem, that's one thing, and sure, they have global coverage that's hard to beat, but if you just need something for a small deployment, they're so expensive.

If that isn't (gonna be) your main machine, I suggest using it as a home server. You would be suprised with how many amazing things you can self host.
Upgrade the storage to SSD and you'll find it probably runs like ... fine.

If you upgraded the RAM from 2GB to 4GB you could run a business off it using Libreoffice.
You might not even need to upgrade the RAM actually.

Ultra high-end gaming machine from the 90s. Play Rainbow Six, Diablo, and others from that era on an impossibly futuristic machine (in 1996). Might need to buy on GOG instead of Steam -- can Steam run on this? I think it's 64-bit only nowadays. I'm guessing this has a 32-bit CPU.
I was also going to say that you could run something that is useful on a selfhosting setup. Garage, an S3 server, has low RAM requirements. But the GPU would be wasted there, and an SSD would be really nice for that use case.
