No, gyms are capitalism honeypots for fitbros

I work out at home with body weight and everyday heavy objects.

Also yoga.

a decently kitted home gym is surprisingly attainable if you can spare the space!

And there's resistance bands, which if combined with a door anchor can replace weights for a fraction of the space and cost. A doorframe pull up bar would be the last piece of kit a home gym would really need when combined with the bands and calisthenics.

Bruh it's $12 a month for planet fitness and it's all aunties and uncs up in there.

1.5 miles in 15 minutes on the treadmill then the yellow room 30 minute circuit trainer with the lights.. 15 minutes stretching in the isometrics room and we on our way.

Everyday, or at least five days in a week. Treat things like yoga biking and sports as "in addition to"

This is the better version. Don't need to go to a gym to exercise.

I never skip leg day. My leg extension PR is 365 lbs. I want my quads to be so strong that fascists’ balls vaporize when I kick them.

Skip the gym. Work on your garden. Doesn't matter how swole you are when the famine starts.

Said the guy that got murdered over his garden during a famine by the most swolen beast of the neighborhood.

Yeah because we all know capitalists rule the world because they are the best at punching.

That said you should still go to the gym (or otherwise exercise) because it is good for you and you are important :)

    Nope.

I exercised outside in the heat like an idiot. Not for exercising outside, but doing it in the heat while my AC wasn't working.

Its working now at least, which is why I'm outside to get sweaty again after my warmup.

This is an individualist approach, a productivist one and a validist one. I see you point : people shall prepare But the next question is : to do what ?

If you want to prepare to run: run if you want to prepare to climb : climb if you want to prepare to fight : fight

This not an RPG, muscles could act counter-productively (it's weight more, and need more calories).

But most importantly, prepare to do it collectively. Some of us have the health and condition to prepare to do some of this, and may need to be recall that they have a responsibility to do so, because some of us don't. Futhermore in most situations it's better to be 3 people not well prepared than one fit. So take care of you community and make it grow

Like others already said, a gymnasium is for privileged assholes. A fascist gets paid to exercise.

What this Post should be instead is a guide on how to exercise at home, with your bloc.

Also, find ways to empower comrades to get fit, rest, and act.

This is your second strike with me A404.
You didn't answer my question last time.

now imagine Proudhon in gym just because a fascist went to gym today

your conception of a body shouldn't be a reaction to another perceived (or imagined) body. If you're going to discipline your body, (if your body is going to discipline you) that should come from love and not because you hate fascism

i know that "discipline" is not a friendly word for most, but that's what it takes to stay fit for years and decades to come.

I got fascia but I’m not a fascist.

  • I'm losing weight so it's less stress on my taxed joints to exercise well. Using an under the desk elliptical for some light exercise. I will then go to the range to train more.

No. I injured myself doing BMX(ish) style street riding. Nothing too bad, but I will be off the bike and doing leg-only exercises for a week or two. I was also in a no riding zone, during graduation on a fairly capitalistic college campus, but hey, biking's not a crime (and even if it was, legality != morality)!
