Stop calling it "age verification," which is a dishonest euphemism for the real goal, which is de-anonymization.
Do not cede the framing of the debate by uncritically accepting pro-surveillance-state loaded language.

Nobody knows whether the majority of EU citizens really want something so invasive. No referendum has ever been made. A fact that flies in the face of democracy.
Translate: ...that the EU oligarchs will track everyone online...

I find it baffling that this is making progress at the same time as Stop Killing Games is.
