Maybe he did deserve all the hate he got in the early 2010s

He was a complete and total piece of shit when he was younger. Like, pissing in a bucket in the middle of a restaurant piece of shit.

He turned around as he got older, became a much better person. He totally deserved being regarded as a fucking asshole when he was younger though.

if i ever had that earning potential, i would do whatever right up until i hit my "fuck you" money number. admittedly, it could be pretty low for someone like me, because i don't give a fuck about living large in a world class city.

after i hit my number, I'd be "retired" and only coming out for stuff i want to do.

when i see stories like this--where somebody who clearly made a boatload already--is still shamelessly chasing the bag through the sewer, all i can think is they're a lifestyle bozo who can never have enough or just bad with money, and don't know how to hang on to any.

I had a dream about this last night.

In the dream there was a NATO conference, and a bunch of celebrities were invited.

People kept talking during the presentations, and there were awkward pauses by the presenters waiting for some audience members to stop talking.

Near the end of this awkward pausing, Justin Bieber started singing from the audience, and one of the presenters finally just said "shut up Justin".

I wouldn't mind this if it came with the caveat of the artist saying out loud that these are evil pieces of shit. Take their money, whatever, it's just playing music to bozos, but don't let them associate themselves with you to get some of your audience to soften on them. Make it clear to your audience where you stand and that it's just taking money for a gig.
