Eh, I don't mind it. The overhang between the two sides seems to create a nice little covered area between the buildings. It's a bit goofy looking, but if you strip away the facade it's got some practical bits.

That overhang is far to high to be noticable on a human scale. If you strip away the facade the building looks essentially the same, like moving boxes cast carelessly into a basement corner.
