I finally paid off my credit card after carrying a large debt for 4 years and paying the entire balance in just interest charges over that time.

It's been such a moral boost.

I've got some extended family visiting for the week, and the weather is supposed to be great, so I'm gonna be doing a lot of outdoor cooking. Brisket, ribs, pulled pork, smoked turkey drumsticks, a bacon-wrapped smoked meatloaf, plus a ton of sides. Might grill some fish if we get lucky and manage to catch some in the crick. The pool is finally warm enough to swim in without freezing to death, which means we can play some water volleyball. On Thursday we're gonna go see a free concert by a Lady Gaga cover band. I don't go back to work until Friday, so I'll have plenty of time to hang out with loved ones I don't see as often as I'd like. It's gonna be a pretty great week for me, all in all.
