Nah he’s a terrific manager. I really felt for him the day we decimated West Ham. It wasn’t him, we were just too good on the day.

He deserved that European trophy, from a time when it was more competitive than it is now.

I’ve just gone through the highlights last night. There were four really classy or exceptional goals last night. All three from City were class, that pass through to Haaland for his was brilliant as were Dokus two. That scorpion from Joao Pedro in the dying minutes of that game.

The other take for me was the ref in the Chelsea/Forest game telling the crowd by loudspeaker the breakdown of the decision on Chelsea’s penalty shot. Looks like transparency things are being trialled. It reminds me of the early days in the rugby codes and cricket with video review and transparency additions. It took a while.

Yeah they have to announce the decision starting this season, most of the time you could barely hear shit on the tv because the mics are so fucked. At least they are pretending to be transparent about things😕

I know several managers aren’t keen on it, funnily enough that was a thing once in the eggball codes too, I also recall Mick Malthouse bitching about it once. Pretty sure Bennett was a hater as well in its early league days. They all whinged at some stage.

Supporters were the same. ‘It’ll waste time, a cricket games long enough as it is’. Now they love watching all the angles.

Now as managers they’re straight onto it when the review process misses something, it’s that good.

Yeah I’m all for it. It’ll clean up a lot of stuff.
