Sorry dude, not going to happen. Emission controls, air bags, seat belts. and a ton more all mandated by law. Tractors way less regulated. The story is this is about clean air and driver safety. in reality it is about making entry into the car market so expensive it keeps start up from competing with the big boys.
Are you saying making those are a requirement is a bad thing, that air bags and seat belts shouldn't be mandated?
If you mean other things, then please provide examples.

I have random daydreams where I'm independently wealthy enough to open a factory making appliances like this. Washing machines and dishwashers with nothing fancier than a timer.
The world needs a lot more companies like this. Fuck the monopolies ruining every aspect of human life!
