Nice, but would this really be anyone's priority? If I buy an Android, I would want it to support at least the next 4 major Android releases, which Nothing (IIRC) already decided to not offer.

Just use Signal for Android -> iOS messaging. No apple login needed, end-to-end encryption and its open source software.

Has a great iPad app too.
