It’s interesting that c/hardware seems to no longer exist, but I can still post to the ghost of that community on the instance holding my account:

I think c/hardware must have been removed a very long time ago, yet fedi instances remain unaware. Is there never a syncing?

And what happened to the content on slrpnk.net? Is this post gone from the slrpnk server?:

No idea what happened to that community four years ago, or why Sopuli still has it accessible.

The only way to solve that is to ask one of the Sopuli admins to delete that orphaned community on their side.

It does return an error on instances other then sopuli though. (sjw, jlai.lu, lemmy.ca)
Maybe it was restored locally by a sopuli admin or maybe federation of this event got lost.
