This is a fantastic write up and solves lots of my own issues. I run Obsidian as my main on desktop. I was syncing to mobile via Dropbox and a markdown notes app that supported Dropbox but they stopped maintaining the app and I never found a good solution since then.
Thank you. Keeping stuff simple prevents it from being dismantled by other sides.
