The pro max is just a little too big. They should make someone thing in the middle.
Apple
A place for Apple news, rumors, and discussions.
I still try to live by Steve Jobs’ philosophy about a phone being small enough to use with one hand.
6.1” is pretty comfortable for me. The Pro Max just doesn’t feel ergonomic to me.
I would like a mini screen with pro power.
I prefer the regular Pro size more. It has just enough screen without feeling cumbersome. If I need a bigger screen I have my IPad for that.
I live my pro 14. Pro max was just way too big
Pro max. Battery life alone is worth it. And it’s not really that big the in the pocket like everyone is making it to be
The pro max is not even a phone it’s a mini iPad, so annoying to have that in your pocket esp with a case
The pro is so small it’s like looking at an Apple Watch. Why would anyone want to squint to look at their phone screen
I’m using 14 pro max but I would go for pro. The only thing i enjoyed in pro max is the big display. But can’t hold it for long, using it in outside while holding a cup of coffee in another hand is nightmare. I got used to it ,but when I use my friends non pro and pro devices it’s very comfortable at that moment i feel like want to go for pro.
Pro Max. All day.
Who took this photo?
pro max anyday. a pro max battery that is deteriorating to 80% health 2 years from now will still be able to provide full day battery life. a pro battery will struggle to do that
Pro Max. I prefer the larger screen for watching 4K movies, gaming, and reading on Reddit. 🤓
Bigger is always better imo
Always pro max. Bigger screen. Bigger phone. Probably bigger battery. Sometimes bigger is better. Definitely applies to the MacBook and the Apple Watch Ultra too.
Went from always having the pro to a Pro Max 15 and haven’t looked back . The form factor on the 15 doesn’t make it feel that much larger. I’ve been pleasantly surprised and figured I’d end up returning it for the Pro. I have a clear case that is minimal. It’s worth giving it a try.
Pro
Pm!!!
Get the big popcorn.
If you can reach the back arrow button in top with your thumb on the pro, get it. If not, might as well go pro max.
Or you could swipe down from the bottom and use one handed mode to reach the back button.
Pro Max, Pro is just too small!
I was never a large phone fan. In fact, I was looking forward to upgrading my 14 Pro to 15 Pro as it's lighter. But.. My reading sight has gone to shit, so I ended up with a 15 Pro Max just to be able to read what's on the screen.
Pro max. Go for the screen real estate.
Asking the real questions….
Yes
Pro max
The pro saves my fingers/wrist from fatigue.
Pro max is too uncomfortable
Depends on your preferences. I like to watch YouTube so pro max all day.
I have tiny hands, so pro
I saw quite a few battery tests and the pros significantly under perform even compared to the regular 15. And that's the reason enough for me to not go for the pros. Go for PM if your budget allows for it.
Pro !! The 6.1 I feel like is just perfect!! I use to like the bigger screen , as I streamed a lot at night my shows On my phone , because I didn’t have a tv in my room
So I got the 14+ , and because I only got it for $100 at Verizon with a trade in
When the 15 pro came out I wanted the 15 pro max natural titanium, but all the pro max’s were on back order for a month (even at the Apple Store which is literally right behind my house)
I waited a few weeks checking if any popped up and none were popping up around me , so during that time I went into Apple Store and was messing around with all the 15’s and I really started to like the regular Pro better
My carrier had 2 options for immediate delivery- 15 pro 256g black or 15 pro 256g blue , so I went with the Pro black
And I have to say I’m LOVING the smaller size phone - It’s just perfect and feels so good in my hand - also the only difference other than screen size is the 3x zoom vs 5x zoom - which for what I use it for 3x is definitely enough. As I rarely even use that
It fits so nice in your hand and pockets - even now when I hold a plus or pro max , they feel way to big and I literally just had one 3-4 weeks ago
You get use to it fast !!
Think I made the right choice - and most likely will stay with the Pro models from now on (16 pro is rumored to be 6.3 instead of 6.1 & pro max 6.9instead of 6.7) so it’ll still be slightly bigger
Hope everyone enjoys there 15 pros as much as I do , and for the people waiting still , GOD SPEED ON GETTING IT FAST!!
SE 4
Pro max models are too big for my hand so I’d go for the pro series.
Ever since they’ve done full screen displays now, the max sizes have worked well for me. Still pocket size enough but now that I’ve gotten used to the size it’s hard to go back.
Pro. Less hand gymnastics when you’re out and about. It feels more rewarding having a phone that fits right in your hand
First time using a 15 pro max (1st change to iphone) from using samsung all my life (last one 20+).
Screen real estate is nice and the battery is immaculate but the weight for one handed use is not ideal. After using it for more than 30-60 min, wrist and pinky fatigue is very noticeable.
Just the Pro. I want them to fit my pockets or my hands at least.
I've thought about this very thing for months and also had the most difficult time deciding. I chose to go with the Pro Max and now, I don't think I can go back to a regular pro size.
The bigger screen feels and looks better. And you definitely get used to it. My wife has the normal size and I literally find it tiny now. lol
I need to compensate …
Pro max any day. Been using one for 5 years now.
I would get Pro Max for the same reason I have 14 Plus over 14 — battery life.
Tiny hands so pro for me
Pro Max. I really wish I’d have went with the Natural Titanium 😫
One of the reasons I switched from my Note 20 Ultra to iPhone was for the smaller screen size without sacrificing on power
After two years of using the iPhone 13 Pro Max and having been recently diagnosed with tendinitis on the hand I use almost exclusively for phones. I’m convinced the Pro Max just isn’t for me anymore.
Pro. Phone is phone to me.
The Pro Max is comically large. It’s like carrying an iPad. To each their own though.
