why can't I be weak and happy? What does being "strong" do?
No one can be happy all the time. Learning to deal with periods of unhappiness is a form of resilience or strength.
Yeah, in an abstract sense I'm going through it all with everyone because they exist, but in a literal sense I've been going through it alone and every year I have become more hardened and it sucks. I miss who I was 10 years ago when people were still a part of my life and things were happier.
Nothing causes quite as much unhappiness as the pursuit of happiness for yourself.
Damn tell that to Palestine, they just need stop pursuing happiness and it'll get better smh
