I’ve taken a ball to the face from point blank. Had blurry vision for several hours and was not thinking straight for a half day. It can definitely cause issues

Similar thing, practiced doing headers all day, felt really ill and my vision got blurry

I was out for two-three weeks with a concussion for the same thing.

Same, had a shot ripped into my temple and didn’t pass out but was seeing stars like a Loony Toons bit and had horrible insomnia for a few nights. The brain fog was real.

Kendrick about to end some careers in La Liga soon if not at Valdebebas itself

Lucky it wasn't a Mikasa. Otherwise he would be in the ICU now.

Good to see this being taken as seriously as it is. I’m a bit surprised to be honest.

Justin Morneau great baseball player for Minnesota took a pitch to the helmet and it essentially ended his career. Apparently he had a few other concussions from youth hockey.

My son doesn't like heading the ball and I have no problem with it.

Concussions are nothing to take lightly.

I never liked to head the ball as a kid, and it would piss off my coach. I would tell him it hurt and he would basically tell me to get over it. In hindsight, I’m grateful for my instincts. Like if it’s hurting me, it can’t possibly be good for my brain, especially at a young age.
