Is there an app for the iPhone that will allow me to turn on and off my child’s phone?

I’ve had other parental apps before, but my child was able to hack or modify, and still use their phone .

Yes there is. Take the phone away from them.

There are options such as using the screen time /parental control feature in iOS, but it has flaws… there are ways to tap links in areas of apps such as an FAQ section that can allow access to the internet even if safari is timed out or blocked.

Get them a dumb phone for calls only? Only allow smartphone use when supervised?

How is this difficult….
