And if you find it lacking, you can raise issues on github, or even fix it yourself if you have the skill.
Since they added play against stockfish, I've completely ditched chess.com.

My desire is exactly opostie. I'm looking for an alternative web client that would be so basic it would run on old Firefox browser on e-ink 4.2.2 device.
No animations. No colors. Just click and play.
Surprisingly, I can allredy do it on the defoult website. But loading sometimes take take, so much time that I already got warning for abandoning to many games
