Casting call for cat pictures for my new app (sh.itjust.works)

Hello fellow cat fiends,

I am coming to you today with a request for help. I just published a new app on the App Store (Android coming soon if this thing gets any traction), called The Daily Cat. The premise is simple: at a random time every day, you'll be sent a picture of the daily cat. Everybody gets the same cat picture for that day. The app is free and has no ads or tracking.

So, what I'm asking from you is: pictures of cats! If you would like your cat(s) to be The Daily Cat, please pick your one or two favorite pictures and email them to meow@dailycat.app. I only ask that there are no people in the picture, and prefer funny, cute, or artistic pictures. Of course, by sending these, you consent for (nay, encourage!) them to be shown in the app.

If this is too shameless a plug, please feel free to remove this post, but I hope you'll consider helping me out.

The random cat is great, but don’t sleep on their API and URL options [like this](https://cataas.com/cat/says/hello fediverse)

if the link doesn’t work on your client

The /cat/says/[text] endpoint writes text on a random cat image, including spaces, which aren’t usually valid URLs. If your client has a problem with the space you can copy the link or change the “hello fediverse” text yourself
