Finally got a break in my blood test hunt. A local drug harm prevention group have set up a HRT blood testing clinic for those of us on DIY or otherwise too broke to monitor ourselves. They're gonna give me the tests I need to be able to start HRT with Imago. It was going to be just too expensive for me otherwise so I'm so happy.

They also provided these cookies:

I've had nose surgery and spent most of my week recovering at my parents house. I'm very thankful that I could just go there without having to fear being constantly misgendered or dead named or anything and instead just being cared for. The hospital and my doctor had also quickly adapted to my recent legal name change and everything went smooth there to.

The last confirmations from various places regarding my name change keep trickling in which is nice.

My nose still hurts but overall I'm doing pretty well.

Had my SRS revision surgery this week. It was a very small surgery which is why they were able to do it just three months after my initial surgery. Three months to the day, actually! Everything went well and I had an okay time at the hospital. I was kind of annoyed by having to stay there for a few days again but I met a girl I met in December again and made some new friends among the other girls getting their surgeries so it was alright. I've now been home since Saturday and recovery is very easy. There's some swelling and my pee is spraying because of it but they didn't change anything about my urethra so I expect this will correct itself soon enough.

The weather is very nice here which means I can finally wear some cute outfits I missed wearing throughout winter. Tomorrow is my first day at my new job and I am already excited about it! It's just some meeting though, I officially start next week, but they asked me to attend this (time is paid!) so I said yes. I am noticing that I've been going through a bit of a small identity crisis because ever since SRS being trans or transitioning just isn't that important in my life anymore and now I don't really know who I am when I'm not struggling.

My brain is broken.

  • I really like being on HRT and living as a woman
  • I'm faking being trans so well all my friends and even three psychiatrists believe me
  • Everyone wants to be a woman anyway
  • What are trans men I don't even

It’s been good. Played games, celebrated a friends b-day and have freed my legs of hair for the very first time. They are so smoooooooth <3

Have my first meeting with a psychologist tomorrow, checking if they are the right folks to help me figure things out, so I am exited and scared.

How was yours?

Shaving my legs for the first time in over a decade made me feel awesome too lol. I wish it wasn't such a pain in the ass though. I've been getting laser and I was super excited at the beginning but I've learned pretty much all the hair removal methods suck in one way or another. Enjoy that feeling though it never stops being great. Good luck at the psychologist!

i've been having some fun this week. it is getting warmer and thus i've been dressing up with some uh more flamboyant clothing hehe

however, i've also been a little stressed, and haven't been eating enough. my pharmacy has been having supply issues with the type of HRT i use, not to mention trying to get my legal name change put through with my medical stuff has been dreadful.

i do have some hopefully enjoyable stuff planned that i'm super looking forward to though. in the meantime i've committed myself to making my room extra comfy!! :D

I've been dressing more flamboyant this week too! I was super surprised how far some well fitting feminine clothes went in making me feel like myself, it was like night and day. Hope the name change stuff goes well!
