Part of the setting that 2077 left out is a subculture of extreme body modder furries. So actual "flesh" cybernectic ears, muzzles, animal jointed limbs, etc.

You can get grenade launchers embedded in arms that look like normal human flesh until the panels separate due to the magic of synthflesh/skin. With that tech some of the animal features would be easier to engineer than separating and seamlessly meshing panels.

Chips and chipware are another thing left out of 2077 (besides the relic chip Johnny/Keanu is on) but are present in the Edgerunner anime. Generally small chips (equivalent to modern day micro-sd) that slot into your neck. Can be basic data storage and transfer, but often give quick access to skills you don't actually have, like jiu jitsu. Or in this case, mimicry of the idle actions of a specific animal breed.

Oh yeah, I know about that. However, this specific cyberware option is from Mixing Drinks—Changing Lives, the collaboration with VA-11 Hall-A, so I assume it's from that game?

I get its literally animal behaviors but thats a massive humanity loss for that. You'll be handing your PC over to the ref before the sheet is even done with the biosculpting and other important implants that actuslly do things for your class.

Looks like npc stuff to me

I don't see the need to spend money on that. Acting like a furry is free!
