It’s killing my love for movies. The films themselves aren’t better - just longer. If I start watching a film at nine, I’m probably not going to be done before midnight.

Fargo is a tight 90 minutes and one of my all time favorites for exactly that reason. It's compact, quickly paced, and generally brilliant. These marvel movies drive me nuts with how long and drawn out they are. Spectacle - and more of it - instead of punch and focus.
