I'm really surprised that there isn't more coverage of the expected effect of the shift from grants to loans. There are lots of "students don't like it" articles, but very little about long term effects.

I assume it'll mean fewer entrepreneurs (since new grads won't be able to take risks) and fewer people taking less lucrative degrees. But it'd be nice to hear from someone who knows what they're talking about.
